Outstanding Student Leader of the Year
This award goes to an individual in a student organization who inspires the growth and development of others, makes a meaningful contribution to the organization and impacts fellow students, demonstrates initiative by seeking ways to challenge the present and enrich the future of their organization, and goes above and beyond their designated duties and expectations.

Outstanding Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award
This award goes to an advisor who has had a positive impact on a student organization and the University community, went above and beyond their advising duties, demonstrates strong advising skills, is readily
available to students, and takes great strides to help the organization’s members. -
Outstanding Commitment to Service Award
This award is given to a group that has demonstrated outstanding service to the Iowa State and surrounding communities, created a commitment to the welfare of one’s communities and understanding the need to contribute meaningfully to society, and has created valuable learning experiences and growth opportunities for students.

Outstanding Commitment to Community Award
This award is given to an organization that has programmed events or activities that align with Iowa State University’s Principles of Community, has utilized accessibility and inclusivity within programming, and supported students in their awareness of diverse identities and perspectives and challenged them to move toward broader understanding of complex and diverse environments.

Outstanding Event of the Year Award
This award is given to a student organization for developing, planning, and implementing an outstanding event for the ISU community that has fulfilled the mission of the organization and had a positive impact on the ISU or surrounding communities.
The Outstanding Student Leader of the Year Award is awarded to an individual in a student organization who has:
- Inspired the growth and development of others.
- Made a meaningful contribution to the organization and impacted fellow students.
- Demonstrated initiative by seeking ways to challenge the present and enrich the future of their organization or the community at large.
- Went above and beyond designated duties and expectations.
The Outstanding Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award is awarded to an advisor of a student organization who:
- Has had a positive impact on the student organization and the University community.
- Demonstrates strong advising skills, is readily available to students, and takes great strides to help the organization's leaders.
- Went above and beyond advising duties.
The Outstanding Commitment to Service Award is awarded to a student organization that has:
- Demonstrated outstanding service to the Iowa State University and/or surrounding communities.
- Created a commitment to the welfare of one's communities and understanding the need to contribute meaningfully to society.
- Created valuable learning experiences and growth opportunities for students.
The Outstanding Commitment to Community Award is awarded to a student organization that has:
- Programmed events that align with Iowa State University's Principles of Community.
- Utilized accessibility and inclusivity within programming.
- Positively impacted participants' and members' experiences related to Iowa State University's Principles of Community.
- Supported students in their awareness of diverse identities and perspectives and challenged them to move toward broader understanding of complex and diverse environments.
The Outstanding Event of the Year Award recognizes:
- Student organizations for developing, planning, and implementing an outstanding event for the ISU community.
- All types of events, including ones that are social, cultural, recreational, educational, etc. are eligible.
- An event that has fulfilled the mission of the organization.
- Had a positive impact on the ISU or surrounding communities.
