Free workshops to build your skills from the inside out

During these workshops, you will have the opportunity to engage in activities and discussions that will help you grow as a leader, add to your toolbox of leadership skills, and leave with the confidence to empower others to do the same.

The Leaders Workshop Series is FREE and open to all Iowa State students. You can attend one session, multiple sessions, or complete the entire series. Light snacks will be provided at all sessions.

    • Learn how to use the Student Organization Resources Canvas to effectively edit and update your student organization’s governing documents

  • Safe & Successful Events with Student Engagement
    • Receive tips for planning events, including how and when to use the Event Authorization System, learn insight about University event policies and how to do it right the first time!

  • Leaving Your Legacy - with Rebecca Wells, Student Life Archivist, Special Collections and University Archives, Parks Library
    • Learn how to uncover your group’s history, preserve its legacy, and use archival resources to celebrate its impact. What you do now can inspire and guide the student leaders of tomorrow – make sure your legacy lives on!
