Open Studios give you the chance to work on your own, outside of a classroom setting.
Jewelry Studio
Tools and equipment for everything from wire-work and beading to soldering with a torch.
ISU Students, Faculty & Staff:
$5 per day
$20 for a 5 day Punch Card (good for 3 months)
$55 for a Semester Pass
Public:
$7 per day
$28 for a 5 day Punch Card (good for 3 months)
$75 for a Semester Pass
Fees only cover the cost of access to the studio equipment. Supply costs are not included.
Open Studios are available anytime when there isn't a class or walk-in craft scheduled in the space you want to use. Most afternoons before 6 pm and weekends are generally good times, and some evenings are also available. You can check out the Studio Calendar below for daily availability. This schedule is subject to change without notice. Feel free to give us a call at 515-294-0970 during open hours if you want to confirm studio hours for that day.
Open Studios are only available for those 18+ who purchase a daily, 5-day, or semester pass. If you are enrolled in a class, you may use the studio at no cost until the last class meets.
