The Housing Fair is designed to help students find the necessary resources for settling into the Ames community. A bi-annual event at the Memorial Union, join us to find available options from local property managers, the Department of Residence and find advice for making your next move.     Vendor Information

    Single Occupancy - $350 

    • One booth with access to electricity if needed (must indicate on the registration form)
    • One parking pass for the Memorial Union parking ramp
    • Name of business, organization, or department listed and hyperlinked on the Housing Fair website

    Double Occupancy - $500 

    • Two adjoining booths with access to electricity if needed (must indicate on the registration form)
    • Two parking passes for the Memorial Union parking ramp
    • Name of business, organization, or department listed and hyperlinked on the Housing Fair website

    Register online via Midwestix. Every registration is subject to a $2 MidwesTIX fee and a 3% convenience fee. All fees are non-refundable, with the following exception: If the Memorial Union is forced to cancel the event, registration fees will be refunded minus applicable MidwesTIX processing fees.

    • Booths will be assigned on a first-paid, first-served basis. 
    • Booth set-up will occur from 8:30am to 10:30am on the day of the event. Tear-down and load-out will be from 1 to 1:30pm the same day.

    • The Single Occupancy registration comes with one six foot table and two chairs. The Double Occupancy registration comes with two six foot tables and two chairs. You may request to have tables and/or chairs removed to accommodate a display. Displays cannot extend beyond six feet in one space or twelve feet for a double space.
    • Displays must comply with fire code and safety restrictions and with Memorial Union Facility Use Policies and Guidelines. If we have concerns about your display, we will notify you immediately and work out an alternative solution.
    • Please let us know about any giveaways or other items you plan to hand out so we can ensure that they follow our standards for this event. 
    • Any food and beverage items to be distributed must be purchased through ISU Catering. Pre-packaged food and beverage items are preferred.
    • The Housing Fair is advertised as a FREE event to students. Selling foods/services/products at the booths is NOT allowed, but you may give away promotional items, employment applications, invitations, or information in regards to the products/services you offer to the ISU community. Credit card solicitation is prohibited at Iowa State University.
    • Electricity is limited to a first-registered, first-served basis. Please bring your own extension cords.
