    Service Programs

    Find ways to serve your community through volunteer opportunities with student organizations, non-profit partnerships, and winter and spring service trips like Alternative Breaks!

Alternative Breaks

The opportunity to take part in service in communities across the United States during both Fall and Spring break. Students engage in short-term service with community agencies and learn about various social issues within the community.

Non-Profit Protégé Program

Each spring semester, undergraduate ISU students have the opportunity to walk in the shoes of an administrator of a local non-profit organization. A unique partnership between Student Engagement and the United Way of Story County.

Make an impact

Volunteer Fair

Each Fall, the Volunteer Fair provides students an opportunity to visit with representatives from local non-profit agencies to learn more about available service opportunities in the surrounding community.
