Lynn Fuhrer Lodge
Student Organizations can reserve the Lynn Fuhrer Lodge, located just north of campus, for upcoming events, retreats, or socials.
Marketing Resources
Several resources are available for student organizations to recruit members and market their events. Resources are available for any budget. Some have a fee associated with their use and others are free.
Office Space and Storage
The Memorial Union provides office space and storage space available to student organizations. Use of these spaces is granted to organizations in good standing and after successful completion of the application process.
Operations Manual
Follow these guidelines in creating an Operations Manual for your student/campus organization. Once complete, upload your operations manual to the Student Organization Database under "Additional Documents."
Prep Week and Finals Week Exemption Process
Student organizations need approval to hold meetings and events during Prep Week and Finals Week. Follow this process to request permission to hold events and meetings.

Student Organization Marketplace
The Student Organization Marketplace is an online marketplace in which recognized Student Organizations at Iowa State University are able to extend their business to the internet and more effectively reach the larger Iowa State community and beyond. Student Organizations can use the Marketplace to sell event registrations, collect memberships dues, and receive non-charitable donations. By purchasing a product through the Student Organization Marketplace, the customer is directly supporting a recognized student organization.
Student Organization Review Committee
Members of the Student Organization Review Committee serve on both the Student Organization Recognition Board as well as the Event Funding Board. This group assists with the university's recognition process for new student organizations as well as allocating funds for student organization events.
Student Organization Trademark Policy
Student Organizations must utilize Iowa State University licensed vendors and uphold the trademark policy and guidelines to ensure proper use and application of Iowa State University's indicia.
Student Organization Website Policy
Student Organizations must maintain their websites through the iastate.edu domain and be hosted on campus.
Training
Certain requirements and training need to be completed by organization officers on an annual basis.
Travel
Policy and procedures are in place to govern travel for recognized student organization events or activities. Approval should be requested prior to travel.
