Co-Sponsor ISU AfterDark

ISU AfterDark is an organization that provides students with fun and exciting late-night activities.

Upcoming dates: October 2 & November 6

For each of these events, we need co-sponsors to host different activities for the AfterDark attendees. These activities have included trivia, dancing, crafts, carnival games and Henna tattoos. You can be as creative as you would like, and we will pay up to 100% of the cost of your supplies. Plus this is great exposure to over 2,000 students, and helpful in recruiting new members to your organization! If you're interested in co-sponsoring an activity, please visit afterdark.iastate.edu  and complete a Proposal Form.

Is Your Org Planning an Event?

If your answer is yes, and if that event includes guests, members of other organizations, is open to the Iowa State Community, or individuals from other universities, you need to have your event authorized. Review the event authorization system training in the student organization database. Once you pass the quiz then email eventauthorization@iastate.edu to be added to the system. Fill out an Online Event Authorization Form and submit it online at least ten class days prior to the date of the event. Your event may require more time to be authorized depending on the details of your program, so please start this process as soon as you begin planning.

Have other questions? Check out the Event Authorization FAQ page first, and if you have additional questions, please email eventauthorization@iastate.edu.
