Put Spring ClubFest on Your Calendar!

Resources and Opportunities

Elect Her Workshop

Elect Her, the only national program that trains college women to run for student government and future political office, is coming to Iowa State for the first time on Jan. 23, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this one-day training, participants will learn and practice hands-on campaign skills, hear from inspiring speakers and discuss research on women in government. Even if you're not currently planning on running for office in the near future, the skills learned in this workshop, like networking and building an elevator speech, will transfer to many leadership opportunities throughout your life. Many of the thousands of Elect Her alumnae have used the skills and tools they learned from the leadership training program to launch successful campaigns for student government positions and even for local office. To register, contact Kelly Winfrey. This workshop is free and open to undergraduate and graduate students; snacks and lunch will be provided. Registration is required; seating is limited.
