Serve on the Student Conduct Hearing Board

The Office of Student Conduct is seeking graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in serving on the Student Conduct Hearing Board. The Office of Student Conduct is responsible for enforcement of the Student Code of Conduct, and the Student Conduct Hearing Board is a critical component of the student disciplinary process. The board is comprised of trained students (undergraduate and graduate), staff, and faculty who hear and review student disciplinary cases that go to a board hearing and where suspension or expulsion might be an outcome. Board members are additionally selected to review appeals of student disciplinary decisions on Appeal Boards.

For more information about the Student Conduct Hearing Board, or to express interest in serving on this board and receive information about training, students can contact Assistant Dean and Director of the Office of Student Conduct, Sara Kellogg, at skellogg@iastate.edu.
