Co-Sponsor ISU AfterDark

Are you interested in partnering with an organization that provides students with fun and exciting late-night activities? Check out ISU AfterDark!

Upcoming dates: March 3 & April 21

For each of these events, we need co-sponsors to host different activities for the AfterDark attendees. These activities have included trivia, dancing, crafts, carnival games and Henna tattoos. You can be as creative as you would like, and we will pay up to 100% of the cost of your supplies. Plus, this is great exposure to over 2,000 students and helpful in recruiting new members to your org! To co-sponsor an activity, please visit afterdark.iastate.edu and complete a Proposal Form.

Host Your Next Event at the Lynn Fuhrer Lodge

The Lynn Fuhrer Lodge is available for reservations! This unique location set in the woods is the perfect spot for your club's all-day retreats or long meetings (reservations must be a minimum of three hours long). A fee was set starting September 1, 2016 to use the Lynn Fuhrer Lodge. The fee is $35 for Recognized Student Organizations, $100 for ISU Departments, and must be paid by ISU Intramural before reservations are confirmed. MORE.

Resources and Opportunities

Start a Store in the Student Organization Marketplace

The Student Organization Marketplace is an online tool where recognized student orgs at ISU are able to extend their business to the internet and more effectively reach the larger Iowa State community and beyond. You can use the Marketplace to sell event registrations, collect membership dues and receive non-charitable donations. By purchasing a product through the Student Org Marketplace, customers are directly supporting your organization!

Save Your Stuff! Submit Your Old Student Org Files to University Archives

The University Archives is looking to gather materials related to student organizations to better document the student experience at Iowa State. If your club has old files that are no longer being used please consider donating them to the archives so they can be preserved. The types of files we are looking for include meeting minutes, reports, scrapbooks, constitutions, communications, programs, and photographs that document the activities of your organization. These files may be in paper or digital format--we are interested in both. If you have any questions or to inquire about donating materials, please contact Brad Kuennen, University Archivist, at kuennen@iastate.edu or 515-294-4216.

Student Government will be allocating over $1.6 million to student organizations and services during their Annual Allocations process.
