Co-Sponsor ISU AfterDark
Are you interested in partnering with an organization that provides students with fun and exciting late-night activities? Check out ISU AfterDark!
Upcoming dates: March 1 & April 5
For each of these events, co-sponsors are needed to host different activities for the AfterDark attendees. These activities have included trivia, dancing, crafts, carnival games and Henna tattoos. Event Authorization Reminder
If your org is planning an event that includes guests, members of other orgs, is open to the Iowa State Community or individuals from other universities, you need to have your event authorized. You can review the Event Authorization Training in the student org database. Once you pass the quiz, email eventauthorization@iastate.edu to be added to the system. Fill out an Online Event Authorization Form and submit it online at least ten class days prior to the date of the event. Your event may require more time to be authorized depending on the details of your program, so please start this process as soon as you begin planning.
Have questions? Check out the Event Authorization FAQ page first, and if you have additional questions, please email eventauthorization@iastate.edu.
Take Advantage of the Student Organization Marketplace
The Student Organization Marketplace is an online tool where recognized student orgs at ISU are able to extend their business to the internet and more effectively reach the larger Iowa State community and beyond. You can use the Marketplace to sell event registrations, collect membership dues and receive non-charitable donations. By purchasing a product through the Student Org Marketplace, customers are directly supporting your organization!

Pop-Up Clothing Shop is Growing and Needs Student Organization Help
Multicultural Liaison Officers (MLOs) at Iowa State took action after learning that many Iowa State students need access to free business attire and accessories so they can attend career fairs, job interviews, and graduate school preparations. MLOs coordinated a Pop-Up Clothing Shop in the spring 2018 (70 students served) and another one in fall 2018 (148 students served). Members of the Iowa State Emerging Leaders Academy (ELA) have partnered with the MLOs to find a permanent home for the Pop-Up Clothing Shop. This is where your org's help is needed! Do you advise or are a part of a current ISU club or organization that is looking for a philanthropic partner? Or perhaps your club’s values and vision align with fulfilling this need on campus. If so, show your interest by filling out this interest form by February 1, 2019.
