Upcoming dates: March 6 & April 3
For each of these events, co-sponsors are needed to host different activities for the AfterDark attendees. These activities have included trivia, dancing, crafts, carnival games and Henna tattoos. You can be as creative as you would like, and AfterDark will pay up to 100% of the cost of your supplies. Plus, this is great exposure to over 2,000 students and helpful in recruiting new members to your org!

The Lynn Fuhrer Lodge is available for reservations! This unique location set in the woods is the perfect spot for your club's all-day retreats or long meetings (reservations must be a minimum of three hours long).

Student Government Annual Funding Requests Due February 16
Student Government will be allocating over $2.6 million to student organizations and services during their Annual Allocations process. Checkout the Priorities and Criteria to see if your student organization qualifies. If your organization is requesting funding, budgets are due February 16. Help Improve Student Organization Office and Storage Spaces
Student Activities and Student Government want YOUR input on the Memorial Union's East and West Student Office Spaces!
As a tenant of these spaces and/or a user of the basement storage units, we would love your input on how to improve these areas. A Student Office Space Task Force is being formed, and you have the opportunity to be a part of it! The group will be tasked with making short-term and long-term suggestions of what they would like to see change in the office and storage spaces. We are inviting you to represent your organization as a member of the task force and provide your input on these potential changes.
To join the task force, fill out this application by Monday February 10th, 2020. We can't wait to work with you and see what we can do to grow our community!

Get Funding for Your Next Event from the Event Funding Board
Is your student organization looking for some additional funds to make your upcoming event even better? Submit an event proposal to the Event Funding Board! The Student Organization Event Funding Board offers recognized student organizations an opportunity to receive funds for events throughout the academic year (fall and spring semesters only). Student organizations can apply for funds each month for events that are at least 5 weeks out from the monthly deadline! The next deadline for event funding is Monday, February 24. Submit your event proposal today!

Student Admissions Representatives (STARS) is an exciting volunteer opportunity for students to present a positive, realistic student view of Iowa State to prospective students and their families.
STARS duties include: campus tours, housing tours, Experience Iowa State visit days, and group visits for high school and transfer students.
STARS can expect to gain: public speaking and communication skills, leadership experience, and an amazing group of Iowa State friends!

The Thomas L. Hill Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity (ISCORE) registration is available now! This all-day conference on Friday, March 6, 2020, is exclusively for Iowa State students, faculty, and staff. ISCORE is a comprehensive forum on issues of race and ethnicity. It is the university’s local initiative designed to provide an ongoing platform of sharing and applying knowledge through presentations and workshops. The conference supports the university’s mission to “create, share, and apply knowledge…and make Iowa and the world a better place.”

Register Your Organization for the Admitted Student Day Student Org Fair
Admitted Student Day is campus visit day for students who have been offered admissions to Iowa State University and are in the process of making a college decision. On this day, your student organization has the opportunity to engage with prospective students. Come and share the opportunities they will have within your organization if they choose Iowa State University.
The Student Organization Fair is on March 30, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 pm.
