Looking for a great leadership opportunity? Register for the Iowa State Leadership Experience!
The Iowa State Leadership Experience (ISLE) is a one-day leadership conference that brings students together to collaborate, engage, and practice meaningful leadership. For the first time, Student Activities has opened the event to students from the University of Iowa, and the University of Northern Iowa. The conference theme is "Unified Resilience in Leadership" and will take place in a virtual format.
ISLE will take place on Saturday, January 30, and will be hosted over Zoom. You can find more info and register at sac.iastate.edu/isle. Questions? Email isle@iastate.edu.
Health and Safety Guidelines for Student Organizations
During the fall semester, student organizations demonstrated creativity and employed an innovative spirit to accomplish their goals while keeping club members safe and healthy. That same spirit and creativity will be needed this spring semester as Iowa State continues to employ safety measure to mitigate the risks around COVID-19.

University Event Authorization Reminder
Student organizations planning events open to more than just their club membership should submit them for review using the University Event Authorization System!
A new University Event Authorization Training is also available in the Student Organization Database to help you learn how to navigate the new site and successfully submit an event to the system.

Update Officers and Take Advantage of the Student Organization Database Features
If your student organization has recently transitioned the President, Treasurer, or Adviser positions, don't forget to update them via the online Compliance Agreement Form on the Student Organization Database!
And remember to check out all the useful features available to your club in the Student Org Database!

Use the web management tools to add, edit, and update pages of your Student Organization site

Increase your communication by adding contact information and social media links to your Student Organization site footer section.

Register Your Club for Sustainapalooza 2021!
Sponsored by the Office of Sustainability in support of the Live Green! Initiative, this annual event offers a tabling opportunity for student organizations to showcase their sustainable efforts and connect with others. The event will take place March 3, from 5:30-8:30pm in the Memorial Union Great Hall. Go HERE to register your organization by February 12. Get Funding for Your Next Event from the Event Funding Board!
Is your student organization looking for some additional funds to make your upcoming event even better? Submit an event proposal to the Event Funding Board! The Student Organization Event Funding Board offers recognized student organizations an opportunity to receive funds for events throughout the academic year (fall and spring semesters only). Student organizations can apply for funds each month for events that are at least 5 weeks out from the monthly deadline! The next deadline for event funding is Monday, January 25. Submit your event proposal today!

Need to Collect Membership Dues? Check Out the Student Organization Marketplace
The Student Organization Marketplace is an online tool where recognized student orgs at ISU are able to extend their business to the internet and more effectively reach the larger Iowa State community and beyond. You can use the Marketplace to sell event registrations, collect membership dues and receive non-charitable donations. By purchasing a product through the Student Org Marketplace, customers are directly supporting your organization!
