If you answered YES to any of these questions, then volunteering at Campus Service Day is for you! Campus Service Crew will have shifts available from 9:30am-4:00pm on Saturday, October 19. You can volunteer for only an hour or the whole day, it is totally up to you!

Attend the Final Leaders Workshop Series

There are still spots open to attend the final session of Leaders Workshop Series TONIGHT! This series of sessions will assist you in boosting your leadership skills, building community, and empowering others to take the lead. Tonight's session will take place in the MU Gallery Room from 6-7:30 PM and snacks will be provided.

Promote Your Organization at National Campus Sustainability Day

Register your organization to table at National Campus Sustainability Day! This event is hosted by the ISU Office of Sustainability and The Green Umbrella student organization and is a great way to promote your organization to students on campus, as well as connect with other organizations who are passionate about sustainability. National Campus Sustainability Day is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn more about sustainability and become involved with sustainability through daily activities and involvement on campus and in the Ames community. 

The event takes place on Friday, October 18th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the South Library Lawn. We will provide tables, as well as event marketing and refreshments.  All you have to do is show up and highlight your commitment to sustainability at Iowa State. To register, fill out this form. Are you hosting an event or activity open to the general public? If so, the Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) Community Grant Program is here to help! The ACVB offers funds to public and private orgs who strive to create a positive perception of Ames and improve the quality of life for community members. 

If you meet the requirements, this may be the perfect opportunity for your student club/org to get the funding you need!

Looking for a way to serve your university? BE A STAR!!

Student Admissions Representatives (STARS) is an exciting volunteer opportunity for students to present a positive, realistic student view of Iowa State to prospective students and their families.

STARS duties include: campus tours, housing tours, Experience Iowa State Visit Days, and group visits for middle and high school students and transfer students.

Give back to your university, gain valuable public speaking skills, and join one of the most passionate student organizations on campus!
