We are fully equipped for hand-built or wheel-thrown pottery

Studios are available during open hours except for times when there are scheduled pottery classes. On those evenings, the studio closes 1 hour before class starts so the instructor and staff have time to prep the space. Click here to see the calendar for the spring.

Kiln Firings
The Workspace fires kilns regularly for both bisque and glaze. Please check the schedule posted by the kiln, or give us a call at 515.294.0970.

The Fine Print
Studios are open to ages 18+. Only Workspace clay may be used in our studios and fired in our kilns. For the safety of you and our equipment, this is non-negotiable. Studios are cleaned at the end of each semester and abandoned pottery will be donated to Art Mart.
