Being a part of one of Iowa State’s most popular student organizations is easy and a great way to contribute to morale on campus! With a low time commitment and a high-energy, experienced staff, AfterDark is the perfect organization for anyone who wants to be more involved with students, regardless of your level of past experience. Event Staff are paid positions starting at $8/hour.

Working with ISU AfterDark would involve: 

• Attend the three ISU AfterDark events this semester

  • Fall 2022: August 26, September 30, & November 11

    • • 7 pm - 1:15 am 

• Assist with set-up, implementation, and tear down of ISU AfterDark events

  • Set up includes: info table, co-sponsored events, bingo, karaoke, food, signage, easels, photo booth, etc.

  • Implementation:

    • Check- in to Win: Use laptop to assist students check in with their photo ids.

    • Bingo: write down numbers called, pick up bingo chips, assist with handing out prizes, hand out bingo cards

    • Info Table: pass out and collect surveys, answer student questions, and use laptop to assist students check in to the event

    • Marketing tear down mid-event: pick up A-frames from campus locations, remove marketing materials, and remove display case

  • Tear down: bingo, karaoke, photo booth, co-sponsored events, featured activities, info table etc.

• May also assist with other ISU AfterDark sponsored events such as Destination Iowa State and WinterFest

• Previous experience not required, training provided on site

• Positivity and flexibility required
